Link I Love
Saturday, January 13th, 2007Here is a game that I became quickly addicted to after seeing a posting on David Crowder’s blog. After introducing it to the rest of the family, they too could not stay away for long.
See how well you can do.
*Note: I don’t endorse any of the ads on the site, just the game itself.
Then, after you have tried it, take a look ar Crowder’s…crazy.
Christmas Cheer 2006
Sunday, January 7th, 2007It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. We had a wonderful celebration of the Lord’s birth with friends and family.
First stop was a church near Ft. Worth for a fun time with the Lamberths (Kara’s Aunt, Uncle, Cousins, etc.)
Will and Pricilla stopped on their way to Jonesboro for their own family Christmas. Parker was sweet to welcome little Carter to the family.
Then it was on to the Parker’s house in Denton for Christmas Eve and Day. All the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins were there.
A Christmas tradition every year is Pop’s famous fried Cha Bread. It passes the “Homer Test”…mmm Cha Bread…can you say trans fat…don’t think, just eat.
Parker was quite sick and so we had to spend the night at Zach and Jodi’s house (thank you!) but that also meant that Kara saw the Christmas suprises but not Parker and me. Sometimes you have to sacrifice for the good of the whole.
Even though Parker and I got there a bit late, the day itself was still a great and fun day with family. The only unexpected gift that we took home was one that we will be all too glad to get rid of; a serious cold and cough has really made Wyatt, Ashton, Parker and Kara suffer. Next year, we are planning to have Christmas on the phone.
A couple of days after the 25th, the Guerry side of our family came to our house for dinner, gifts and games. Being busy hosting the party and the fact that our camera was missing in action means that I have no pictures to share, just some fun memories.
Next, we visited Mom and Jim’s house for another morning of suprises.
One stocking gift that made us all laugh was some “Bubba Teeth” for the kids. Our dental plan at work really leaves something to be desired.
Parker is all boy. He could not have been happier with the tools that he received, including a “power” circular saw. Be sure to wear your safety goggles.
Game time and play time is always such fun. All three kids make this horsey tired!
In all, Christmas this year was a blast. Thank you to all for the wonderful love, gifts and joy you give us at Chrismas and year round.
