As an update, I sent the following note via email today. I dressed up the text with some pictures just for the website.

Wyatt had his first soccer game today and did very well. He has a long way to go before he is Pele but I think he will have a blast getting there.

I don’t know if anyone was keeping score but Wyatt’s team got off to a slow start. They got scored on early and often as it was hard to stop the one boy on the other team that was bigger and stronger than most and could kick with pretty good precision.

Wyatt’s team, the Piranhas, bounced back nicely, slowed down the brute kid, and scored some goals of their own. In all, it was probably pretty close to a tie game.

More games are to come and we would love to have any of you join us. As you can see from the attached picture, Wyatt’s team wears dark blue jerseys. If you come out for a game, you can look for the team colors or give us a call or email beforehand and we will tell you where to meet us.
